    Hello, I tried to change the colour of a contact 7 plugin form submit button but was unable to use the style.css of my child theme. I tried the dashboard .css editor and it worked!

    Can you help explain why? Not urgent as I have found a workaround

    Update: I have had the same issue on another page http://www.mediagrin-dev.com/villa_agency/search-result/?searchResultStart=2 which works with a plugin that we had developed for the site. I'm guessing it has something to do with stylesheets that go with the plugin and I need to enable some kind of override?

    I am using this piece of code to enqueue the stylesheets:

    function theme_enqueue_styles() {

        $parent_style = 'parent-style';

        wp_enqueue_style( $parent_style, get_template_directory_uri() . '/style.css' );
        wp_enqueue_style( 'child-style',
            get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/style.css',
            array( $parent_style )
        );
    }
    add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'theme_enqueue_styles' );

    Hello Rob,

    i apologize for the delay.

    In order to change the style of the Submit BTN of CF7 you need to search this line inside style.css

    .wpcf7 .wpcf7-submit

    in order to create a custom css file i suggest you to do as follow:

    1. add this lines inside functions.php after line 73 http://pastebin.com/YeEVj4kS
    2. create a custom css file "custom-style.css" and upload it inside Bentuestu > css

    In this way you will work with a dedicated file.

    Best regards,

    Giorgio
